АSW. Determination of activity of alpha, beta and gamma emitting radionuclides

The program ASW is intended to use with spectrometer-radiometer MKGB-01 “RADEK”, portative gamma spectrometer MKSP-01 “RADEK”, radiometer RKBA-01 “RADEK” and other measuring instruments produced by Scientific Technical Centre RADEK, company ATOMTEX and other manufacturers.

The program ASW ensures simultaneous and independent control of all connected analyzers, provides all the necessary tools for the applied spectrometry. Allows to implement measurements and processing of spectra, adjustment of spectrometric tracts parameters and obtaining of all relevant spectrometric characteristics.

The program ASW has a multi-window interface and provides wide opportunities to work with the spectra (mathematical operations , batch processing , application of specific algorithms , conversion and translation into other applications).

The program ASW implement various algorithms to determine the activity of radionuclides in the samples from the spectra of scintillation spectrometers (NaI(Tl), CsI, LaBr3, etc.) such as ROI method with the redefined matrix, method of the analysis of the individual peaks , the method of superposition (generator method).

The program ASW has many tools for the analysis of the spectra from semiconductor spectrometers (HPGe, Si, CdZnTe, etc.):

   - Search of peaks in the spectrum and with the regard for the radionuclides and the lines indicated in the library ;
   - Approximation of the peaks of the gaussian curve and other functions;
   - Automatic identification of peaks ;
   - Registration of the density of counting samples ;
   - Registration of the background;
   - Calculation of the efficiency curve (calibration of efficiency) ;
   - Generating method ( superposition) ;
etc.

Automation of routine measurements can be provided by use of a bar - code system (printing complex "Shtrih-3") and sample changers ( APU-01 "Beta" and APU-01 "Gamma" ) .

ASW is a platform - modular structure that allows to supplement the program with modules of applied tasks (WBC , Profile, Comparator, thickness measurement , etc.).

The program ASW is supplied to the customer completely ready-to-use - with all the necessary calibrations and settings. STC RADEK provides training of the customer's personnel , as well as methodological support and consultations.
